Problems don’t disappear with taking one’s own life; they’re just thrust onto the shoulders of those who were close to that person. There are people who care about you in the world, whether or not you realize or accept that. If you think you’re “holding these people back” or “causing them harm,” think about how much worse you’d be doing to suddenly throw everything away.
